Zaid is a corporate lawyer with substantial Middle East experience, specializing in M&A, joint ventures and equity capital markets, Zaid also practiced law in four Middle Eastern and North African jurisdictions (Jordan, Qatar, Egypt, UAE, Lebanon and KSA).
Since 2007, Zaid has a wide experience advising on corporate and commercial matters, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa. He specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity, corporate litigation and disputes, investment funds, private placements, corporate restructurings, licensing and regulatory matters and provides general corporate consultancies. He has worked with clients operating in most business sectors.
Zaid holds academic qualifications in common law. He graduated from Kingston University in London in 2007 with a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in International Commercial Law (“Merit” awarded). He also completed his undergraduate law degree (LL.B) at University of Jordan in Amman in 2006. Zaid is admitted to the Jordanian Bar Association and is a member of the International Bar Association in Feb 2008, also registered as a Foreign Practitioner in Dubai in DIFC.
